School teaches your child what to think. But has your child learnt how to think?

The World Economic Forum's Future of Jobs Report (2025) highlights that as AI and automation take over routine tasks, uniquely human and cognitive skills have become the most valuable workplace assets.

At The Resilient Builders, we see the consequence of this every day: Children nowadays are at risk of losing their agency. They wait to be told what to do and what to say.
They rely on screens to do the heavy lifting, to think or to cope with negative emotions.
When they face a complex, real-world problem, or a high-stakes interview, they panic.

We do not teach the syllabus. We build the ability to think independently.

The 5 Core Skills We Build in This Workshop

  • A man engaging in critical thinking and problem-solving

    Analytical Thinking and Problem-Solving

Your child is handed a live, unresolved case, a real business or social problem, no textbook answer attached. They build the analysis and the solution from nothing. By Day 2 they're defending it under direct challenge from a rival team.

  • A man persevering to push a gear uphill and a woman stressed out about multiple demands

    Resilience, Flexibility, and Agility

We engineer the setbacks on purpose. Peer critique they didn't ask for. A curveball planted mid-workshop. A full team reshuffle halfway through. We're not measuring whether they avoid the fall. We're measuring how fast they get back up, and what they do differently the second time.

  • A man on a megaphone and magnet attracting people

    Leadership and Social Influence

Each team rotates a lead who delegates who presents which part, then has to live with that call. Every child stands and defends their own section solo, then fields a question on exactly what they said, no hiding behind a confident teammate. They also learn to deliver criticism that actually lands, which is the harder half of leadership and the half most adults never get taught.

  • A woman progressing upwards on a paper plane and another woman slumping on her desk

    Motivation and Self-Awareness

Every child leaves with insights on how they personally behave when challenged, whether they freeze, rush, or go quiet, and a plan for catching themselves next time. Most adults don't have this kind of self-knowledge yet.

  • A man and woman putting puzzle pieces together into the shape of a lightbulb

    Creative Thinking

No team is allowed to pick a solution until they've generated several wrong ones first. We delay the obvious answer on purpose. The obvious answer is rarely the good one without refinements, and most workshops never make a child sit with that discomfort long enough to find out.

Meet Our Founder

Former Consultant at Accenture. Psychology-trained learning architect.
A young woman with short brown hair, wearing a white button-up shirt, standing near a window with greenery outside, smiling softly.

Before founding The Resilient Builders, Raine spent over five years at Accenture as a Consultant, advising on technology and data transformation deals worth up to US$200 million and leading delivery teams of over 100 people across Asia Pacific, the Middle East, and Greater China. She was made Consultant in less than three years, against a four to five year average.

She saw, from inside the rooms where these decisions get made, that technology replaces tasks, not judgement. The people whose careers held up were the ones who could spot a problem nobody had named yet, take a position, and own the outcome. She also saw that the old idea of resilience, endure quietly, doesn't prepare a child for that world. The resilience that matters now is the ability to adapt, decide, and create value when nobody hands you the answer.

Raine now designs immersive programmes that build exactly that: the ability to observe critically, take action, and stay resilient and self-directed in an economy that no longer rewards simply knowing the right answer.
